I wish I hadn't bought this book. Avoid, avoid, avoid.This cookbook is awful. I didn't exactly expect 1000 unique recipes, but I thought I'd have more than 58. And I thought the recipes it DID have would be edible. I was wrong on both counts.This book is extremely poorly written. I know a lot of first time users of the Instant Pot (those who this book is supposedly written for) have confusion about their new machine. The English and grammar in this book are so poor, many of the instructions and comments have to be read multiple times, adding more confusion to an already new and confusing topic. Moving past that, when you do finally have a finished product on your plate, you don't even want to eat it. All of the recipe's I've made so far have been incredibly bland and tasteless, or so soft and mushy I'd be embarrassed to serve them to guests.I almost gave the review two stars, because the book DOES lay out a menu 1000 meals in advance to help with meal planning, which is a nice feature. The problem is, there isn't anything in this entire book that I'd want to eat for 2 and 3/4 years.Point your web browser away from this page, and towards a Google search of Internet Instant Pot recipes. You'll save money, and have a much better product.

It’s a shame there is not a zero star because this “book” would have gotten just that!The grammar is so bad in the book it has become the laughing stock of my house.Not worth the time or money to return the book as it was less than $4 when I purchased it. I see they’ve doubled that price now. That’s laughable!

Despite the bold 1000 in the title, there are only about 60 recipes in this book. They get the 1000 number from a series of 140 weekly meal plans that are in the back of the book. Each plan just repeats some of the same meals week to week, but in a different order. The recipes look good but this isn't what we thought we were getting when we ordered the book.

From opening the box of your new instant pot, to simple recipes that almost anyone could follow, this book has it all. I especially like that most of the recipes contain ingredients that are found in most people's kitchens. She has also listed carb and calorie counts for those following diets. This is a good book for both, those learning how to cook, and for the more experienced as well.

We, my husband and I, were horrified that this book was not proof read before it was sent to the printer. There are a LOT of missing words in sentences and one has to reread those sentences in order to try to understand what she is trying to say. (Maybe the author was too busy to test the recipes.) Also, the book is printed on a low-grade paper which is not good for a cook book. If you splash food on the pages, it will soak in. We would have immediately returned the book, but because of the cost of postage and the price of the book it wasn't worth it.

Very few recipes in this book even though it has "1000" in bold letters on the cover, not to mention that the recipes it does actually have in it aren't anything to write home about. Just another person trying to make money off of the Instant Pot popularity without taking the time to actually put together a good cookbook worth owning. Not worth the paper it is written on, which isn't saying much. Save your money and buy a different cookbook for your Instant Pot or better yet, search the internet for good recipes for your pressure cooker. There are so many out there.

The title of this cookbook is deceptive. There are only about 60 recipes. If you want someone to tell you what food to eat for 1000 days this would be great, otherwise I would suggest finding a different cookbook.

I have no college background in music but I do enjoy history. Professor Greenberg was outstanding. I enjoyed every lecture and finished this course with new found appreciation for music. Not only did Professor Greenberg have a mastery of his subject but he was able to sprinkle in just enough humor to make it fun. What more can I say but you can not go wrong in purchasing this course.

Professor Greenberg has done a sterling job with this course. I was initially reluctant. Although my MA provided me with many perspectives from which to view history, music was not one of these. It wasn't that I doubted Greenberg, rather that I doubted whether my own grasp of music would be up to the task. I needn't have worried. He manages to weave between the historical record and the roles and contributions of the makes and users of music with a professional's grace. Not only was the whole thing interesting and with each element well chosen, but his moments of (Parisian?) irreverence spiced the whole thing up and made the style and approach unique in my experience. The only course that I have subsequently listened to a second time in its entirety, and then again in 'excerpt' mode during my spells in my car and workshop. Thoroughly good value.

I just finished this latest course of Prof. Robert Greenberg, a musical mentor for decades via his courses, whom I now have the pleasure to also know personally. Who knew that he was an accomplished historian too? This course, most unusual for Greenberg, is more about history than music, placing 24 musical pieces – many relatively unknown – within the context of historical events in which they were composed.With over 200 references, the course is rigorously academic and yet, typical of Greenberg, opinionated, irreverent and entertaining. He is an articulate speaker, a grand actor, a sensitive poet, and yes, forever the comedian. At one point he even utters a bulls*** cough as he describes some falsehood perpetrated by violinist Eduard Reményi upon the memory of his former colleague Johannes Brahms.Greenberg provides surprising new insights into historical events one might think they know well. In one instance a comment he made about Ottoman Turks (a subject I know very well) and their four hundred year rivalry with the Habsburg Empire took me by surprise. “How ironic,” he said, “that when they both collapsed, they did so as allies.” Indeed! I had never thought of it that way. There are many other similar epiphany moments in the course.I thoroughly enjoyed this course and highly recommend it to anyone.

This is the most interesting photography book I have read in years. Inspirational. Well-written. The example work is out of this world. Overall, outstanding

If you’re looking to find new ways to push your photography creatively with color and lighting without killing your budget, get this book. He shares some honest tips and insight on how he approached lighting and editing for shots throughout the book and encourages you to experiment and explore on top of his techniques. Looking forward to implementing everything from this book into future projects. Also, if you don’t follow him on Instagram, you should. Super nice guy and shares what he’s working on.

Though I have no interest in emulating his style, his images are beautiful and well executed. The author takes you through his set ups, explains himself well without being overly technical, and does a fine job keeping it readable. A lot of post processing information as well.Its a pretty quick read, and you'll certainly learn something along the way.

Brilliant photographer, great book. He details how to work with colored gels and his process in post. Easy to follow, I learned a great deal from him. PS. All his books are great.

Well, I learned one important lesson about death from this book-- I'm now that much closer to it after blowing a couple of hours blazing through pages that would have been better off spending out the rest of their lives as trees.This book was a joke and the fact I bought it and read it had to be the author's sadistic punchline.While on the whole a profound waste of shelf space, there were a few historical tidbits from the author that were genuinely interesting and if he had spent more time writing in that depth instead of ceaselessly plugging his retail store and name dropping, this book might have actually gone somewhere of value.

Over-all this book is a good book. Has a lot of good information in it. There's some in there that makes you stop and think. Which is always a good thing. However, there's somethings in there I personally don't agree with. But - that's just me. I do recommend this as a way to expand knowledge in an area that is sorely lacking printed knowledge. As well as to have a more balance view on witchcraft. However - like most witchcraft books - read with common sense. Definitely worth the buy though!

This is a book i've been waiting for, Written by Salem Massachusetts own Christian Day with a forward written by the renowned Witch Raven Grimassi. The Witches' Book of the Dead, Is written on the ever forbidden practice of Necromancy & of contacting the spirits of the dead. It's very well written & researched by Mr, Day. One will learn from a to z on how to practice this esoteric & downright frightening art of connecting with the spirits of our dearly departed, & of The dead in general! You will learn about it's history, How to enter altered states of consciousness to be able to "connect" with the spirits. There are also different types of ritual practice for you to delve into as well. Also what To do, & what NOT to do, to conjure those who have passed into the Summerland, A word of caution from someone experienced in these matters, follow the instructions carefully, as they WILL be the deciding factor between success & failure! Christian Day also shows you how to know when you've done a ritual correctly, & what to expect. I remember seeing this book quite a few times on Amazon, but dismissed it as another generic Witchcraft book delving into a subject MANY are to scared to even think about!! I finally bought it, & boy was i wrong, Am I'm not wrong often on Occult matters, as having been a practicing Occultist for 21 years now! Well i'm very glad i got it, very well done! I absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting a clear, concise, & at times humor full experience wanting to learn about Necromancy & speaking with those dead. Well researched and executed, Christian Day proves himself to be an excellent teacher, writer, researcher and entertainer. Just the right sprinkling of personal experience keeps the book from becoming a boring thesis on the worship of the dead. Well thought out rituals and meditations round out the chapters and allow the progression from novice to experienced communicator. He provides an excellent up to date list of resources rather than the usual 'they are all out of business" one normally found in Metaphysical books. As a Druid and the owner of an Occult shop, I strongly recommend it.

This book has been very useful to me in preparing rituals to re-connect with my loved ones that have crossed over to the other side. As a devotee of Hecate, I especially appreciate the respectful manner in which he describes this Great Goddess in detail as well as Her similarities to Papa Legba (Loa of the Voodoo religion) who, like Hecate, is an intermediary between the living and dead and whose sacred place is the crossroads. I also like the fact that Christian Day refers to himself as a "Warlock" which tells me he thinks outside the box and isn't afraid to walk his own path without conforming to the status quo. As a male practitioner of the Craft, I refer to myself as a "Wizard" and not a Witch, as this is simply how I identify with the Craft and it suits my personality. As they say, to each her/his own. To my Wiccan brothers and sisters who haven't really given this book a fair shake, read it with an open mind and see how it can add to your practice in ways you never imagined. Blessed be...

Almost a couple of weeks later, I'm still enjoying listening to it and reading it very much. I have also downloaded its Kindle companion version, to make it easier getting back to and reviewing previously listened sections. It has a lot of insightful information, about necromancy and witchcraft, that I plan on incorporating into my own practice. My heartfelt gratitude to the author!
